అముదము (తమిళం) = అమృతము (తెలుగు)

అరవము  అంటే తమిళాన్నిఅమృతము తో పోల్చుకొంటారు అరవవాళ్ళు అంటే తమిళులు. కానీ అమృతము యొక్క రంగు రుచి వాసన ఎట్లుంటుందో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. 

కన్నడము కస్తూరి అంటారు. కస్తూరి దూరంగా నిలచి వాసన చూస్తే హాయిగా వుంటుంది కానీ బాగుందని ముక్కు వద్దకు తెచ్చుకొని పీలిస్తే ముక్కు బెదిరి రక్తము వస్తుంది. 

కానీ తెలుగు అట్లు కాదు. అది తేనె, ఆ తేనె ప్రారంభము కాబోయే ఊట, అంతేనా అంటే అదీ కాదు, దాని తేట . తేట నెంత తాగినా తనివి తీరదు తృప్తి కలుగదు.

గ=చలనము ( అంటే చలనము లేలిది=పర్వతము=హిమాలయము=దానికిరాజైన హిమవంతుని )
జ= కుమార్తె (అనగా పార్వతీదేవి)

పద్మ= పద్మమునకు 
అర్కం= సూర్యుడైనట్టి( సూర్యుని చూస్తే తామరలు అనగా పద్మములు వికసించును. అంటే ఆ కొడుకును చూస్తే ఆ తల్లికంత ప్రేమ.)
గజ +అనననం =ఏనుగు ముఖము కల్గిన (నిన్ను)
అహస్+నిశం = పగలూ రాత్రి అంటే రోజంతా
అనేకదం= ఎంచ వీలు లేనంత
తం =తమరి, మీయొక్క
భక్తానాం = భక్తులలో
ఎకదం= ఒకడు
తం= తమరిని
ఉపాస్మహే= ప్రార్థించుచున్నాడు

ఈ శ్లోకములో అనెకదంతం అని ఎకదంతమని చదువరాదు. అనేకదం తం అని ఎకదం తం అని చదువవలెను.
విఘ్నేశ్వరుడు తన అమృత హస్తములతో మనలనందరినీ దీవించు గాక . నిరాటంకమైన  విజ్ఞానమును మనకు 
కలుగజేయు గాక . మంచిని పంచు సామర్థ్యము ఈ 'రామమోహనుక్తి రమ్యసూక్తికి' కలిగించు గాక.

अगज - अ+ग (im+movable, i.e., mountain) + ज (born of), this refers to Parvati as the mountain here is Himaalaya and the king thereof is himavanta
आनन् - face
पद्मा - Lotus
अर्क - Sun
It is natural that the lotus blooms in the presence of sun and contracts in the absence. this says that Devi Parvati get fascinated to see lord Ganesa which shows her ardent love towards he son.
गजाननम् - Elephant faced
अहर्निशम् - day and night
अनेकदं+तं -(Among) innumarable number of +your
भक्तानाम् - devotees
एकदं - one
उपास्महे - meditate upon
तं-you

These are the two highly famous slokas on Lord Ganesa ,chanting which he clears all obstacles and paves a smooth path to our goal.
May Lord Ganesa showers all his blessings upon everybody. Let him shower his benidictions enabling this 'Ramamohanukti Ramya sukti' to share all the good to one and all.

ఇట్టి వైరుధ్యముల మధ్య నెట్టులైన 
సామ్యమొక్కటి చూప నే సాహసింతు

చాలు నీ మైత్రి తనతోమసలగ నేను

ఇక్కడ పాప ధారి(సంస్కృతం) అంటే పాపాత్ముడు అని, పాప తాల్పు(తెలుగు) అంటే పాములు భూషణములుగా 

ధరించినవాడు అని అర్థము. పదములోకటిగా జేసి ఆయన పదము చేరి వారి పాదములపై వాలి సేవించ
